Hollow Rock Soldier Killed In Vietnam:
Specialist 4 Terry Eugene Williams, age 20, was killed Thursday, July 9, by Vietnamese Booby Traps, while on duty in Vietnam. He was serving in the 101st Airborne Division, 2nd Brigade, Company E.
He attended Central High School in Bruceton before entering service over a year ago. After basic training he had been assigned to duties in Germany. While there, he volunteered for a years duty in Vietnam, which would have been completed in October, although recently he signed up for another six months.
Services were held Tuesday, July 21st, at 2 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery with Military Honors.
