James Jordan has been found only once at this time. He is on the 1850 Randolph county AL. census in Beat # 13, household 406. He is a 22 year old farmer born in SC. His wife is Sarah, 17 born in GA. and they were married within the year. There is also an A.W. Jordan 25 from SC. with a rather large family for one so young.

By the 1860 census James wife Sarah Ann is remarried to William Edward Wright and living in Marion County AL.

I have no information on Martha Eugenia after the 1860 census.

William Madison marries Pernecia Jane Clark daughter of Parker Clark and Elizabeth Ann Miller on18 January 1877 in Al. He died on 30 Apr 1912 at age 58. Children of Billy and Nessie are:

My Grandfather was the only one in his family to spell his name Jourdan. I think that may be a Tennessee thing as the rest of his family lived in Alabama and Mississippi.
