William Taylor to deed 156 1/2 Acres to Jones Taylor Heirs;
This Indenture made the 29th Day of February
in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight
Hundred and Fifty six. between William
Taylor of the County of Hardeman and state of Tennessee of the one part
and Elizabeth Taylor in
Trust for the Heirs of Jones Taylor of his body ,
of the county of Hardeman and State of Tennessee of the second part . Wittinesseth
that the said William Taylor for and in consideration for the sum of Four
Hundred Dollars to him in -------- paid by the said Jones Taylor in his
lifetime the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged .Hath Given Granted
Bargained Allieved Conveyed and Confirmed and by these present Doth give
grant Bargain Sell Allive Convey and Confirm unto the said Heirs of Jones
Taylor deceased their heirs and assignees forever. A certain tract or parcel
of Land situated in the County of Hardeman and State of Tennessee in range
one section Five ------Surveying District Beginnind at a hickory the most
Northern N.W. Corner of an occupant survey for 150 acreas in the name of
Augusta Taylor and runs South 34 poles to a stake with a ----- ----- and
two black oaks -------- there with a divisional line West twelve poles to
a stake hickory.maple and persimmion pointing thence with the sauce South
14 poles to a stake pointing there with the sauce West eight poles to a
stake black Oak pointing thence with the sauce South eight poles to a stake
Elm and two persimmion pointing thence with the sauce West 55 poles to a
stake poplar and two -------- pointing thence South sixty poles to a stake
with three Black Oak pointing thence West 100 poles to a stake post Oak,
White oak an Hickory pointing thence 100 poles to a stake 3 black oak pointing
thence east 189 poles.
The same tract of Land Granted to William Taylor by ___ ____ 6366 on the
first day of August 1848. This tract of land is thereby conveyed upon the
expressed condition to be posessed, used and held by the ___ Elizabeth Taylor
during her lifetime and ___ to the children of her body by the said Jones
Taylor dec'd or to be born begotten durniing overture with said Jones Taylor.
To have and to hold the aforesaid land with all and singular the rights
profits endowments
