E. R.. Conder professed Religion and united with the ME Church at Corinth ME Church in Decatur TN. in the year 1876.
- He was ordained a Deacon by Bishop John T. HURST at Hollow Rock, TN. on the second day of December, 1885,
- He was ordained an Elder at McLemorisville by Bishop A.M. Waldon on the 19th day of October in the year 1890.
